Sometimes the purpose of portrait photography exists on a different level.
Most of us have dreams, goals and envision something, such as a great career or becoming a renown artist, building a business, or touching people with music.
That vision means something to us, and some people even live for it — so it is a part of us at times it even forms all traits of us, still it does not represent who we are fully.
Yet some portraits are about giving light to that side of us — the entrepreneur, the dancer, the virtuoso musician.
The challenge is to place that aspect of the person into the spotlight without letting the rest of their character disappear into the shadows.
In my portrait studio in Frankfurt, these ideas shape how every portrait session is approached.

How A Portrait Session Works

Consultation
In a first introduction-call I want to get to know you, the project and the general vision and scope. After that we will schedule a concept-call.

Concept
In a concept call we will discuss the concept, ideas and the story the pictures will tell as well as the classics: location, setting and mood.

Portrait Session
I'll have everything prepared prior to your arrival. We start the shoot with a short recap of what we have planned over a drink or snack, and then get started.
With a background in music I like to use music to create an environment in which you or the model will feel the moment, which I will capture.

DELIVER
I will work on curating the images which you will receive polished within a few wees after shooting online.
